2026 Chem-Dry Franchise of the Year Award Recipient
I am pleased to share that Mike Rivera of North American Chem-Dry Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning has been awarded the prestigious 2026 Chem-Dry Franchise of the Year award. A member of the Chem-Dry system since 1986, Mike began his career in San Francisco before moving operations to Sonoma, California. He currently operates four vans servicing both Sonoma County and San Francisco.
Founded in 1976, Chem-Dry has grown into the world’s largest carpet cleaning network. Our unique, patented Hot Carbonating Extraction process provides a deeper clean without leaving dirt-attracting residues, allowing carpets to dry in hours rather than days. Additionally, the EPA recently recognized our carbonating cleaner, "The Natural," with the "Safer Choice" award, confirming it meets U.S. EPA Safer Product Standards for families and pets.
The Franchise of the Year is Chem-Dry's pinnacle award, recognizing the "best of the best" for leadership, support, and overall service excellence. To qualify, an operator must regularly attend Belfore Franchise Group meetings and actively mentor fellow franchisees. This award honors those who foster brand growth and demonstrate a sincere commitment to both their local community and the success of the national network.
