Marketing Coordinator

Music in Place is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator (part-time contractor, up to 20 hours/week) to support our growing programs and events. This role is central to how we connect with our community, promote our concerts and education programs, and tell the story of our work.

 

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and communicator who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects. They will lead day-to-day marketing efforts including email newsletters, social media, press outreach, website updates, and coordination of printed materials, while supporting event promotion and donor engagement.
 
Position Highlights:
  • Part-time contractor (up to 20 hours/week)
  • $25–$35/hour depending on experience
  • Remote, with occasional in-person meetings and events
  • Bay Area candidates required (Sonoma, Napa, or Marin preferred)

 

We’re looking for someone with nonprofit marketing experience, familiarity with tools like Mailchimp and WordPress, and a genuine passion for the arts and community-based work.

 

As Music in Place continues to grow, this role will be instrumental in helping us expand our reach and deepen our impact.
