Join us for a brief lecture, and musical performance of the music of Zoltan Kodaly, a famous Hungarian composer, ethnomusicologist, teacher and philosopher. The program includes the Young Musicians Chorus from Berkeley and pianist Hyunjoo Chung, who has performed across the US and Asia. Janos Horvath, Professor Emeritus of Music from the University of Calgary will provide a brief background of Kodaly and his method of teaching music, with demonstrations.
