This summer, Music in Place and the City of Sonoma invite you to soak up the sunshine, sip local wine, and dance to live music at the Sonoma Plaza Grinstead Amphitheater during Sonoma Sundays On the Plaza, a free concert series running June 7 through October 4, 2026.

This week's lineup features Tyler Lauren! Tyler Lauren is a singer-songwriter known for her combination vocals–inspired most by 1990s Rhythm and Blues and Golden Era Jazz vocalist influences– and writing/production styles which she credits to her training in musical theatre.

In 2020, Tyler Lauren premiered her debut single “annie” on 106.1 KMEL with Golden State Warriors DJ D-Sharp and has since garnered attention from platforms like Sway’s Universe with Sway Calloway, Lyrical Lemonade, and Spotify Editorial playlists like “Bay to LA” and “Orbit.” Other credits include an in-studio performance and interview with KTVU (Fox), songwriting and production credits with Columbia Records, headlining at Oakland Museum of California, opening for Justin Nozuka, Hiero Day 2022, Dock of Bay Festival with E-40, Larussell, and Con Funk Shun, and multiple songs featured in Keke Palmer’s original series Heaux & Tell, in addition to modeling credits for Oaklandish and RexxLifeRaj’s California Poppy.

Her most recent single and video release is “FIRST COMES LIKE,” with at least two more releases set for Summer 2026.
