This summer, Music in Place and the City of Sonoma invite you to soak up the sunshine, sip local wine, and dance to live music at the Sonoma Plaza Grinstead Amphitheater during Sonoma Sundays On the Plaza, a free concert series running June 7 through October 4, 2026.

This week's lineup features Tommy Thomsen & the Ambassadors of Western Swing! Tommy Thomsen is a consummate performer whose charismatic stage presence and heartfelt vocals captivate audiences of all ages. Backed by The Ambassadors of Western Swing, the group’s talent is undeniable—each member showcases extraordinary musicianship, whether it’s through soulful steel guitar solos, toe-tapping fiddle melodies, or a rhythm section that keeps the crowd dancing all night. Their performances are a perfect balance of nostalgia and vibrancy, appealing to Western Swing enthusiasts and newcomers alike. 

Sonoma Sundays are free and open to all, thanks to the generous support of the Sonoma Community Center, The Dawn Redwoods Trust, and the McNeely Family Foundation.
