Orange you glad it's spooky season? Our family-friendly Halloween Trick-or-Treat returns on Saturday, October 24! Come to the sanctuary in costume to meet and treat rescued pigs, chickens, goats, boooo-vines, and more! Here's what awaits you: Treat the Animals: Take a spooky stroll around the sanctuary loop in costume and hand out treats to our friendly animal residents while learning their rescue stories. Scavenger Hunt Adventure: Kids can explore the sanctuary, search for clues, and discover fun animal facts along the way. Pumpkin Smash for the Pigs: Help us smash pumpkins and watch the pigs bob for apples — it's always a crowd favorite! Vegan Treats & Goodies: Enjoy a candy treat bag and other goodies. Cruelty-Free Carnival Food: Treat yourself to plant-based carnival food for purchase from Vegan Circus Truck, including a special 'chicken' sandwich sponsored by Daring. Games & Crafts Galore: Play fun games and decorate your very own wooden pumpkin to take home. Best of all, as always, proceeds from this event benefit the lifelong care of our 150 rescued animal residents, humane education programs for schools, and emergency response.
