Explore the techniques of color theory.

Three Adult Art Workshops that explore the techniques of color theory in a range of mediums, inspired by the work of Richard Mayhew. Limited to 10 people per class.

Bring your own paints, good brushes, and tools. Can be oils, acrylics or gouache.

COLOR THEORY BASICS 
Saturday, October 7, 10 AM-1 PM

Getting back to basics, make your own color wheel with primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. After exploring the paintings of Richard Mayhew, we will remember and relearn color theory in paints.

COLOR THEORY EXPERIMENTS
Sunday, November 5, 10 AM-1 PM

Experiment with color mixing using various techniques led by artist Miki Hsu Leavey.

COLOR THEORY RULE BREAKERS
Sunday, December 10, 10 AM-1 PM

Learn to create color combinations outside of the box.

$55 per workshop. $150 for all three classes.
