Description

The Sonoma Valley Community Health Center, in collaboration with the B.T.S. Committee, will be hosting the 7th Annual Back to School Health Fair on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Altimira Middle School. Local resources will be available during the fair, but the highlight of the event is the distribution of age/grade appropriate backpacks filled with school supplies to local students.

This effort began in 2015 with the distribution of 175 filled backpacks to students in need.  We continued this effort even during the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2021, over 600 backpacks were distributed. The community's support has been vital and we can't continue this effort without it.

Activities:

Fluoride dental treatments
Informational Booths
Raffles and entertainment
Health education and screenings
Covid-19 and Tdap vaccines

Backpacks for local students. First come first serve.
